:: 2 is You, Mr. Liam-boy ::

Dear Not-So-Little Liam-boy,

It's official.  You're no longer a baby.  You are really and truly a big-little boy.  We celebrated your birthday this year quietly, celebrating you, tickling you, and feeding you cake.  This past year with you has been nothing short of a JOY.  You've changed so much and are SO different than your siblings.  You've thrown me a curveball here and there, but one thing remains the same: You Sleep.  And for that, I am so grateful.  But besides all of that, you've grown to love your mommy (and daddy, but mostly your mommy) so much more.  In fact, you hardly will let me out of your sight most of the time, unless it's to follow your brother (bubba) and sister (sissy) around, mimicking them and trying to keep up with them.

You are soooooOOOoooooOOO sensitive.  I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but man.  I never had to deal with separation anxiety with your brother and sister, so you really caught me off guard.  But, you adore me.  And I'm glad.

You're hilarious.  You're always repeating everything we say and cracking us up.  You have a smile that lights up a room and eyes that melt my heart.  Everyone always comments on your eyelashes and I's not fair that you have such luxurious lashes.  The girls will be chasing you for sure!!

You love Hotwheels, Trains, and your stuffed animals.  You take your bear with you EVERYWHERE and when you're home, you always have an armful of your animals - froggy, bears, puppies, and you're always nose-kissing them and rubbing their noses on your face.

You talk.  All. the. time.  Full sentences.  The things you say just astounds me - and everyone else, for that matter.  Such big sentences coming from such a little boy!  You talked so early!!  I'll never forget hearing your first full sentence.  I was doing the dishes and it was just the two of us at home.  You came up behind me and asked, "Hey, what are you doing?"  I just about peed my pants...I couldn't believe that came from you.  Since then, your language has taken off.  You know some of your colors as well, and the lyrics to many of your favorite songs.

You're fascinated with your "weenis" and other parts.  You always ask for Buttpaste whenever I change your diaper.  You love sitting on the potty and I hope to have you fully trained by summer *fingers crossed*.  You love dance parties in the have the funniest little dance.  You tell your daddy and I, "Beed you" when you want us to hold you.  You love to snuggle, read books and run races with your brother and sister.  I love hearing you guys giggle and talk when you're playing together.

You're just an all-around cool kid to be around and I'm SO lucky I was chosen to be your mom!!!

You've grown up so quickly and your babyhood is in the rearview mirror.  I love you so much, chubby cheeks.

Your daddy and I both do.  xoxo
