:: a week off ::

I am an extrovert.  I love hanging out with friends, being with people and slacking off on my duties.

i miss this. (hawaii - july 2011)

The past few months have been GOGOGOGOGO with no stop to catch my breath.  Seriously - It was March, and then I blinked and we're almost to August.  I need to slow down!!  It takes a LOT to get me to a boiling point.  Camping trips, vacations, bbq's, dinners, nights out - among other events, have pretty much brought me to that point.  The family reunion (and 2nd drive over the pass in as many weeks) miiiight just send me over the edge.  Don't get me wrong - I love hanging out with my friends (again) and will take a night out any day.  I love to travel and I love to be busy.  But.

hawaii post is being drafted...

I have thousands of photos I'd love to go through, organize, edit and post (some, not all).

My house needs some attention.  My mom did a lot while she was here (thank you, MOM!), but I see stuff that I've been putting off that, well, really needs to get done.

I would like to take some time to process, print and frame some photos for my home and for gifts

I need to get back on my diet (these vacations are killing me)

My head is spinning around on my shoulders and I'm starting to break out in hives.  (ok, maybe not, but I feel like this could happen at any moment)

I have a few home projects that I swore would get done by end of summer.  Uhhhh....

I really would like to start blogging again!!

fresh coconut...mmmm

I'm done.  Tapped out.  Feeling the pull - you name it.  Crying uncle.

Therefore.  I am declaring a week off.  My phone shall be silenced, other than blogging/editing & posting photos, the computer shall be unplugged, my house shall be cleaned, simple, healthy meals shall be cooked, music shall be blared, kids shall be played with, kitchen dancing shall commence, and projects shall be completed.

Let's see if I make it 3 days.  ;)  ha.

Tentatively scheduled for August 8th-12th.  I'm breathing easier just thinking about it.

And what a better way to spend Aidan's birthday (the 8th) than kicking off a week of awesomeness!!

Seriously, though.  Things are starting to rattle over here.  And I smell smoke.
