:: time for an update ::

I can't believe it's already heading towards the end of July. Where has our summer gone? We have hung out and enjoyed us some great company with friends, bbq-ing, playing games and just enjoying the slower pace of summer. Wait. Hang on a minute...slower pace? Ha ha...

I started working part time at my old job - A&W Bottling (yes, the root beer) filling in at the front office while the gal is on maternity leave. It's only 3 days a week, but it's amazing how quickly the week flies by now that I am doing this. I am loving it, though - loving the change of pace, the ol' forgotten parts of my brain that I am dusting off and using again and having actual adult conversations for hours! Plus, with a little extra money for bills, it's a win-win!

Liam is huge these days. He just had his 4 month checkup (was closer to 5 months) and weighed in at 16.8 lbs! 26.5 inches in length as well. He's a charming, chubby little fella with big blue eyes and a smile that will melt you. He still sleeps all night and loves his little swing. He adores his big brother and sister. Oh, and his mommy and daddy too. He loves sitting in his bumbo so he can look around. He'll start on solid foods soon. First lineup: brown rice cereal, avocados and bananas.

Aidan is gearing up to turn 4. (FOUR!!!!) He is learning to read, do math and sings constantly. He plays the big brother role very well and is learning to be a big help to me. He's definitely changing from little boy to big kid. Makes me sad.

Gia. Oh, Gia. She is our little challenge these days. She is so darn cute and knows it. She loves playing with her babies and her little kitchen, but has no problem getting down and dirty outside with Aidan. She also loves Cars, Hotwheels and playing the piano. We're trying to finish up potty training her. She's SOCLOSE. But she happens to be stubborn. *cough*

Ryan and I are getting ready to celebrate 10 years of marriage in August. I'm working on a full post for that - with wedding pictures. Stay tuned! I love that man. I think we've grown a lot in the last few years and sense some changes ahead as our family adapts and trudges forward.

I am happy and blessed.

Okay, update blog post is complete. Back to our regularly scheduled program...whatever that is. I really miss blogging.
