:: 36 ::

I'm feeling a bit more at ease today...maybe.  Things have calmed down and Aidan surprised us with no poop this morning!!  AND he's asked to go poop 2 times today.  Praise Jesus.  I know he's not going to be in high school pooping his pants, so I need to just relax and work with him.  Anyway...he's been a strangely compliant child so far today (minus the 2 hours he was at preschool) and Ryan is also working from home, so I have some extra help.  Soooo nice.

Here is my 36 week update:

- Weighs about 5 1/2 to 6 lbs, according to today's ultrasound

- Has long legs (according to today's ultrasound)

- Is more than 18.5 inches long

- Likes to have his hands up by his face

- Is ready to come out any time

- Is still head down.  yay.

- So stinkin' tired you wouldn't believe it.

- Woke up in the night last night...I couldn't breathe.  I was on my back.

- Contractions here and there, but nothing consistent.

- Lots of aches and pains

- Anxious to meet and hold my little one

- BP is starting to elevate...grrrrr.

So, the plan for now is to induce at 39 weeks IF my blood pressure is normal.  If it continues to climb and reaches a point where we'll have to induce earlier, we'll do just that.  Apparently, history has a tendency to repeat itself.  So we'll all depends on my bp.  It was elevated today both times that they took it.  So we could be on our way sooner rather than later.  I'll keep you posted!!  GAH!!!!
