:: fifteenth ::

*chuckle* I was so busy this week that I completely forgot to post my 15 week post!  over this past friday/saturday, we traveled with Ryan's parents to Chewelah (Eastern WA) for Ryan's grandfather's 88th birthday.  Our two days were spent driving (in our new car that seats 6!  And has a DVD player for movie watching!) and visiting with family there.  The kids did pretty well in the car and it was a fun, but exhausting 2 days.  Staying in the same room (hotel) with our 2 kids was a new and challenging experience.  We had 2 queen beds - Ryan and I took one, Aidan took one, and Delia slept in her pack-n-play.  They took a little while to settle down and I slept rather restlessly  as every sound they made throughout the night alerted me to their existence.  We made no less than 9 stops on the way home (!) so that made for a long day yesterday.  I'm still exhausted, but what else is new.

My fifteenth week started last Thursday.

Baby:

- measures about 4 inches long and weighs 2 1/2 ounces (the size of an apple, or navel orange)

- moves amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, developing air sacs in the lungs

- legs are growing longer than the arms

- can move all joints and limbs now

- forming taste buds

- eyelids are still fused shut, but can sense light

Me:

- Still tired, bleghhh

- lots of crampy aches and pains

- feeling fluttery movement every once in awhile, but still not much

- lots of heartburn

- appetite is okay, but still bleghh

- need to shop for some maternity clothes soon (clothes from last pregnancies are pretty much shot)

In other news, I'm happily awaiting the arrival of FALL.  My favorite months are ahead!!  I can't wait for crisp, cold air, Halloween, and my fall decor.  And pumpkin EVERYTHING.  Sigh...my favorite.
