:: my baby's on steroids ::

I took Delia to the doctor yesterday after I noticed her wheezing in the baby monitor.  It was not a pleasant sound.  The doctor listened to her lungs, ordered up some x-rays (which turned out fine - no pnuemonia), had her put on a nebulizer (a big inhaler) for a bit, gave her some steroids, then prescribed more steroids (1 more dose - don't worry, she won't get big muscles or start growing facial hair).  My poor baby just lays in bed and coughs and moans.  I didn't hear her much last night, so I think she finally slept better.  I put the vicks humidifier in her room to help her breathe.  I went in to check on her and her room was like a sauna.  Awesome.  Aidan is feeling fine, eating fine and whatnot.  Must've just been a little tummy bug the other night.  Why do kids always have to puke in the middle of the night?

Anyway, I'm tired of icky sickness.   I feel like I'm coming down with her cold.  Sighhh.

I worked out yesterday and I am very sore today.  Ryan is taking a sick day too.  I am seriously run down.  Need a vacation.

Since this has been a lame post, I'll tell you something funny.  I overheard Aidan telling Delia the other night while I was cooking dinner, "We need to leave mommy alone!"

We just heard Aidan in his monitor - coughing a nasty cough.  Greeeaaat.  Now, here are some pictures.
