:: Joey, baby ::

this is Joey:

joey joey

He is my oldest brother.  He turned 33 this year.  He was 3 grades ahead of me in school.  He was a straight-A student.  He was first chair for trumpet in band.  He loves to play basketball.  Sometimes he'd get so mad playing b-ball in the backyard that he'd chuck the ball 3 yards over.  He bought a really old pickup truck and drove it his senior year of high school.  My other brother and I had to cram in the front seat with him.  I remember telling him one time in the truck that I couldn't wait for him to move out.  I didn't mean it.  Sorry, Joey.  We used to say horrible things to each other.  Those are great memories now.  I had crushes on a lot of his friends.  He also played the french horn.  We used to play Transformers and Used-Mom Lot.  One of my favorite memories is when our pony, Cocoa, bucked him off and stepped on his head.  We used to build forts in the sagebrush fields, climb trees, and ride bikes.  I was mad one Christmas when he and my other brother got fishing poles in their Christmas stockings and I got a doll blanket and an orange.  He is always such a fun guy to have around, with a great sense of humor and infectious giggle (sorry, joe, but it was a giggle).  I was always amazed at how many friends he had.  He was quite popular and nobody picked on me because I was "Murray's little sister."  Everyone likes him.  He is good at math.  He is not a singer, but is a talented musician nonetheless.  He had to be brave from a very young age, and he still is very brave.  He has a huge, kind heart.  I've always looked up to him.  He's always been my cheerleader, confidante, and protector.  He'll never grow out of that role, and I'll never grow out of needing him in that role.

He has a wonderful, beautiful wife named Kendra.  They have 3 wonderful, beautiful kids: Makayla, Mason, and Mattox.  He has a big heart.  He works hard to support his family and is very dedicated.  I love him so much.  Life started out kind of rough for him, but I'm proud of the man he has become.  He has overcome so much and has become a better man, father, and husband because of it.  I'm so proud of you, Joey.  I'm lucky to have you as my big brother.  And I love you.  Awwwwww....
