Merry Post-Christmas!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It was definitely the whitest Christmas that I can remember since I've lived in the northwest! Christmas eve was spent with Ryan's family at his parents' house. The drive out there was quite treacherous, but well worth it. I'm surprised at how well my little Passat handles in the snow! We opened gifts, ate yummy food, and watched Elf. It was a great day and it just kept on snowing! Christmas morning, we headed out to our annual breakfast with Ryan's dad's family. The drive was even more treacherous and it was, again, snowing and snowing and snowing. Knowing we had to fly out later that evening, I was a bit nervous. After breakfast, Drew, Julie, and Mackenzie came over and we had a yummy Christmas meal and played Mario Party 8. Then I realized I hadn't yet packed and that Dave would be arriving in a few short hours to take us to the airport. I'm bad at doing things like packing last minute. But I got it done, we headed to the airport, and arrived safely in Idaho. We had Christmas yesterday with my family and will have a yummy tukey dinner today. It's snowy here and lovely to just be with family and have no agenda....except going to Costco. Ryan loves Costco and wants to go every day. We're headed to the movies today to go see Valkyrie. As much as I ABHOR Tom Cruise, I'm looking forward to it. I love going to the movies with my dad and sister.

Delia turns 1 tomorrow (!) so we'll have a little birthday party for her, then we'll have another one sometime in January at home. It's hard to believe this time last year I was getting induced. She's such an adorable little tax break.

Well, I have caught a cold, so it's time to grab some Airborne before I go. I hope you all are well, and I look forward to a new year of blogging in 2009!! I sense some changes ahead for my blog that I am excited about, and I have a couple of new blogs to add to my blogroll, which I am also excited about. I love reading blogs!!

And I love you. Mwa.
