best. mom. EVER.

i don't know what got into me today, but i decided to make french toast for dinner. It was just Aidan, Delia and I, so I wanted to do something different and somewhat treatlike for Aidan. i was tired and not in a very creative mood, but good ol' Betty Crocker, whom i adore, had a recipe for baked french toast and it turned out fabulously. Note to self *only bake half the time and add that extra bit of sugar, some cinnamon and nutmeg for flavor... Aidan LOVED his warm french toast - crispy on the outside and oh so mushy on the inside, with a little drizzle of lite syrup. as i sat and watched aidan delight over his dinner and delia gum her little pieces - and enjoyed my french toast too, it dawned on me; i rock.
